Can anybody tell me where I would start looking for information about my father?
His name is John Emlyn Edwards. He served in the RN during WW2. I think his ship may have been the aircraft carrier HMS Renee and I think he was an engineer. He definitely saw service in Malta. Is there an organization that can help me? Is there a record archive of ordinary sailors?
Should have asked him these thing when I was a kid, but never did. It's only when someone is no longer with you that these things become more relevant.
