Hi, I'm writing a book on British football managers in Portugal. As an intro I am looking at some of the early games of British teams in Portugal. Between the 2 wars a hefty % were against Royal Navy teams, culminating in a very controversial game in 1946. I wondered if there has been any research / books / papers on Royal Navy football teams? I am particularly interested in HMS Active 1918/19, HMS Carysfort October 1923,  HMS Repulse/ Hood January 1925,  Atlantic Fleet squadron January 1932, HMS Rodney February 1938 and March 1946 Home Fleet squadron. I would love to know the exact date of HMS Actives visit to Lisbon  so I can find details of the match.
