Ports Brisbane, Pinguin, HMS Cornwall
« on: 23 February 2013 01:38:13 pm »

I have a deceased female relative (British) taken prisoner by Pinguin (Raider F) in WW2 when Port Brisbane was attacked and sank (21 November 1940).  HMS Cornwall sank Pinguin 8 May 1941 and rescued crew and 22 civilians.  On 25 May 1941 HMS Cornwall arrived in Durban.  Where would I find out which civilian passengers were taken captive and then rescued?  What happened to them once on HMS Cornwall.  Any info gratefully received.
