Just discovered my late Dad's Station Card: Royal Navy Barracks HMS Drake AB Rating without a number, Mess D3, Locker 1, showing him "U.A." (for Grog & Tobacco?). Also a Certificate of Service for his brother Tom: "Duke. Drake, Drake IV Granby, Implacable." Didn't know that either were in the RN! Dad was ex-RAF and Tom was Merchant Navy. I gather that Tom's number made him an AB Stoker but how can I find out more about my Dad? He did seem to know his way around Guzz and HMS Drake!
