HMS Stag, Haifa
« on: 05 July 2016 09:52:50 pm »

My dad, Lewis George Hale, was victualled under HMS Stag as his accounting base from 1940-1942. In that time, I know he was on several ships including HM Ships Jervis and Erica, and MV City of Edinburgh, SS Princess Marguerite and SS Clan Campbell. I have a photo of him in Haifa taken with a group of squaddies, which suggests he may have been involved at some stage with Combined Ops Command. Hope somebody can help me out to find out what else he may have been up to

It is  quite detailed lots of photos etc.    Hopefully it will provide some further information.
