I just wondered if I could ask for advice really, I am searching for my uncle who unfortunately was killed aboard HMS Indomitable aged just 17 years in 1953.
I was ideally after a photograph and wondered if photos were taken of boys enrolling in the Navy when they first joined, he joined in April 1951. Also I believe after his death he was awarded a bravery medal but would not know how to search for these items. If anyone could assist it would be greatly appreciated.
His details were: Indomitable, aircraft carrier, explosion on 3rd Feb 1953, HUMPHRIES, Kenneth S, Boy 1c, JX 899584, DOW
