Dear all,

I am researching the HMS Sheffield (C24) which was commissioned on 25 August 1937 and scrapped at Faslane in 1967.
Her nickname was the 'Shiny Sheff'.

I am trying to trace when exactly this Cruiser was docked at Swan Hunter's Wallsend Shipyard for repairs or a refit. It was possibly in 1962 - but I cannot say for sure.
