HMS Shark

Hi I have an ancestor who, in the 1921 census, served aboard HMS Shark at Chanak, Turkey, but the ship was sunk at Jutland a few years before, can anyone explain why this is so.

Wrong Shark.

This would be the destroyer launched in 1918 - see
