Tony 'Nobby ' Clarke in 1992 -Why is he wearing the Iron Cross? In his words “my mates presented me with this saying that it had come from General Galland of the Luftwaffe to congratulate me for writing off 6 Seafires deck landing which was more British aircraft destroyed in the Med in 1944 than had been destroyed by the Luftwaffe”.

June 10th 2001 - Tony Clarke's ashes are dropped into the Solent from a Swordfish of the Royal Navy Historic Flight.
